So today we got the platform done and three walls up…. the truly fun part was getting the 2×6 floor down… we used some recycled 2×6’s for the flooring… but the lengths were a little short for normal 16 inch on center framing… did not think to check it out before… so we had to do lots of cuts the fit the puzzle together…

We started on the wood shed today… going back tomorrow to finish (or get as far as we can… We would have progressed further but I messed up the wood order and did not have enough floor joists… on the plus side HD messed up and I got a little extra wood…

Went down today to drop off the cabinets, some carpet and a couple of other odds and ends… we mowed the lawn about three weeks ago but everything was knee high today… so we spent the day mowing and cleaning… snapped the pano below before we knocked it all down…

It’s been a very busy spring… Other the going down to take care of the lawn and one party we have not had much time to get to the cabin… This should change now that summer is here.
I did just finish building the cabinets for the kitchen and should be going down soon to install them.
after that the next big project is to start on the bathroom addition. More should be coming soon.
