Another great weekend at the cabin… getting along on projects and keeping busy…
This week we triple sealed the countertop and grouted it…. stained (combo stain / poly) the trim for the countertop and installed it… we still need to seal the grout and instal the backsplash… then the sink… the plan is to drain the sink out to a bucket for now…

There are many little projects I have been skipping over and meaning to get to. One of them was to revisit the tool shed.
Today was a half work day… did not start till almost noon…
The door to the wood shed was installed a week or two ago…
Last week built the bedroom door and installed it… We also installed most of the cabinets and laid the kitchen floor…
These pics are from my father-in-law… forgot my camera last week and he went down today and snapped some pics…
The shed just needs the front wall put on still. Even so we have moved much of the building materials in to clear up the cabin.
So summer finally arrived today… 85 might not be hot to some but to me working in the sun today after a sumer of days in the 60’s and 70’s… ugggg…. but I can’t complain…. two days in a row without rain…
