Today with the girls off of school I brought the family down to the cabin to see what we have been working on. unlike our recent works trips the weather was perfect. low 60’s and sunny… no wind… we actually saw a sea plan landing on lake erie on our way home. The water was so still…

The kids had fun

Cooked some lunch

And split some wood

BTW if you are looking for a great splitting axe the Fiskars Super Splitting Axe rocks… This was my first outing with it. You need to use a different splitting technique as it splits so well it can go right through the wood and into you leg or foot with ease.
