SOLAR RESOURCES

Some people have asked me about where I got my information and venders used so I figured I would create a page Dedicated to that. I will update this page with other links to sites I find useful.

Here was this initial plan :

Here is the plan. It is still a work in progress. I need to find out more about wiring requirements, fusing and breakers. So far I have my inverter which I got from Craigslist.

Long time since my last post… update on projects

IMG_2341_s

I know it’s been along time since I have updated this site. I have been doing youtube videos mostly covering my latest projects… most have been equipment related… but I have been working on a pole barn so we can get some of the equipment undercover…

I also moved my blog to wordpress… the old site was just to hard to maintain… hope it will be easier now

Here’s the last video of the pole barn project… if you want to see the rest go to my youtube channel buffcleb

Sachs Dolmar 116SI

Just picked up a 1993 Sachs Dolmar 116si Chainsaw… It’s in very good shape but needs a couple of things :

Chain brake – not working – band broken – needs replacement
The air valve leaks sometimes when tipped on side
Needs new air filter
Rear air filter cover threads are stripping

Also my choke works opposite from the instruction manual… up is run and down is start…

I pulled the exhaust the the piston looked like new… lots of life left in the old saw… we also picked up a Stihl 034AV that was in like new shape… I’ll create a page for that sooner or later

Manuals :

Sachs Dolmar 116si/120si IPL
Sachs Dolmar 116si/120si Service Manual
Sachs Dolmar 116si/120si Owners Manual

Oh… I got the saw from Morg’s Sawz & Stoves in Pavillion, NY… owner was a real nice guy who threw in a bunch of extras & let me test the saw out on his wood pile… They’re a full service chainsaw shop about 45 minutes from home & used to be a Dolmar dealer… I’m betting I will be back again…
